GTK 3 3.22 depency breaks Ubuntu 16.04 targets
Versions
- OS: Linux Mint 18.4 Sylvia
- Gajim version: 1.0
- GTK version: 3.18
- Python-nbxmpp version: latest
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Follow the install procedure for Ubuntu Linux OS
Expected behavior
Gajim is installed with all dependencies flawlessly.
Actual behavior
APT package manager says
Depends on: gir1.2-gtk-3.0 (>= 3.22) but 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3 will be installed
AFAIK Mint 18.4 builds upon Ubuntu 16.04 packages, which pins GTK at 3.18. I guess regularly we have to wait for Linux Mint 19 till we get the decency. So is this version essential, or could you downgrade to 3.18?
