Update via APT: "plugin incompatible with current version"
Versions
- OS: Debian Testing
- Gajim version: 0.98.2
- GTK version: 3.22.26
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Update Gajim via APT on Debian Testing
Expected behavior
Gajim's plugins should be updated or just disabled when Gajim is updated to a version incompatible with them.
Actual behavior
When Gajim is updated, plugins are not updated and the plugin list (Gajim > Plugins) is totally empty. It is not possible to update them, nor install new ones (excepting from ZIP file).
Some output explain the problem:
02/08/2018 18:45:34 (W) gajim.plugin_system Plugin gotr not loaded, plugin incompatible with current version of gajim: 0.98.2 > 0.16.9 02/08/2018 18:45:34 (W) gajim.plugin_system Plugin flashing_keyboard not loaded, plugin incompatible with current version of gajim: 0.98.2 > 0.16.9 02/08/2018 18:45:34 (W) gajim.plugin_system Plugin omemo not loaded, plugin incompatible with current version of gajim: 0.98.2 > 0.16.9 02/08/2018 18:45:34 (W) gajim.plugin_system Plugin plugin_installer not loaded, plugin incompatible with current version of gajim: 0.98.2 > 0.16.9
May be it is an APT side issue, but how to update the plugins when there are no more taken into account by the plugin installer?
