Odd behavior of systray menu under Windows
The menu invoked by right-clicking systray icon doesn't either look or behave like a standard Windows context menu. The differences are rather annoying.
- when I click the icon the menu doesn't appear as it should, but instead shows an empty rectangle and has to be scrolled to be usable, which takes a few seconds;
- context menu behaves like a window, ie. it doesn't close when I click elsewhere, and has to be closed by hand.
I'm not sure if it's intentional or enforced by the toolkit, but one way or the other it just doesn't feel right.
I run Windows 2000. I don't know how this works in other versions.
