If account domain is spelled capitalized, a mysterious error pops up on login
This is gajim 1.4.7. I entered my user name "XXXX@SSpaeth.de" into the gajim login window, enter the password (or any password really), hit login and get
"Invalid Stream Header" back. THe console spits out another clue
"29.08.2022 15:29:02 (E) nbxmpp.stream (Account Wizard) Invalid from attr in stream header"
I understood what was going wrong when looking at the XML console:
<!-- Outgoing Mo 29 Aug 2022 15:30:00 CEST (Account Wizard) -->
<?xml version='1.0'?><stream:stream xmlns="jabber:client" version="1.0" xmlns:stream="http://etherx.jabber.org/streams" to="SSpaeth.de" xml:lang="en">
<!-- Incoming Mo 29 Aug 2022 15:30:00 CEST (Account Wizard) -->
<stream id="XXX" xmlns:stream="http://etherx.jabber.org/streams" version="1.0" from="sspaeth.de" xmlns="jabber:client" xml:lang="en" />
I entered SSpaeth.de while the server is configured as sspaeth.de and the capitalization mismatch was enough to lead to an "invalid stream header" error in Gajim. Something a TAD more helpful or ignoring of the domain name capitalization would be terrific.
