Allow more characters on workspace icons & ship some useful graphical icons for workspaces
Hi, the way I've setup my workspaces is that I have a separate one for each of these three: 1:1 chats, public MUCs, private MUCs (see attached picture).
I think it would be great if Gajim shipped with a set of icons that the user could choose from for his workspaces. In my case my idea would be to generally change the icon for the "Gajim home button" as I'd call it, the one at the top, in that way that it also contains a small house added to the Gajim symbol. An icon for 1:1 chats could contain two of the Gajim symbols with a colon or so in between.
An icon for public MUCs could contain just three Gajim symbols, maybe forming a ring similar to the old Ubuntu logo. And finally an icon for private MUCs would add a key symbol to the former. Maybe an icon set shipped with Gajim could also vary those mentioned with small symbols for work, sports, school, university, gaming etc..
As a temporary solution in case drawing icons takes more time or as a generally lighter option Gajim could offer to show more characters (which would need to become smaller with every character entered of course to fit into the solid color icon) on the current workspace icons, so that the user for example could enter "1:1" as the text for an icon for a 1:1 chat workspace.
