Sanskrit characters not supported?

Versions

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Gajim version: Nightly 12-10-2021
  • GTK version: 3.24.30
  • Python-nbxmpp version: 3.0.0-dev1

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Connect to a room where someone has a nickname in Sanskrit

Expected behavior

  • See the nickname properly

Actual behavior

  • We have the tofu character
