It seems to have been introduced in 19.10 eoan. Of course, gajim has no obligation to supply nightly packages that work with all supported versions of Ubuntu.
When an Ubuntu user on any pre-19.10 version has gajim-nightly installed using the nightly repository, apt will however decide to try and remove this package because of the missing dependency when performing updates. This might be confusing to users. As the same repository is used across many different version of Debian and Ubuntu, I would simply suggest to mention on https://gajim.org/download/#install-instructions at the end that python3-css-parser is required and therefore it won't work on older versions of Ubuntu than 19.10. Though of course, another solution where those users can continue to use gajim-nightly would also be nice.
I'm not sure if the website is tracked in a repository, otherwise I could perhaps write a PR to fix the information.https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/website/-/issues/29Add link/instructions to install Flatpak version of gajim nightly (master bra...2020-02-23T22:19:15ZAndréAdd link/instructions to install Flatpak version of gajim nightly (master branch)There are different ways to propagate the nightly version of Gajim (flatpak).

This would be to give it an up-to-date look and also to simplify its structure a bit (e.g. downloads could be better organized in my opinion), and to make editing more accessible for users.
The concept used by prosody.im and xmpp.org seems promising. See for example https://hg.prosody.im/site/
This concept would also be an advantage over the current website, because it allows easy editing via markdown and it uses bootstrap for navigation and styling. There would be simple html as output pages, so I think no significant attack surface in comparison to the current situation. To manage this, a possible solution would be Jekyll: https://jekyllrb.com/showcase/ It seems this would be easily integratable into the Gitlab CI as well :)
I guess I would be the one doing most of the editing. Would it be possible to set up a testlab on the website's server to try and see how it works?

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies.
gajim-nightly : Depends: gir1.2-gtk-3.0 (>= 3.22) but 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3 is to be installed

Should this be working?
If 16.04 is not supported (even though it's official end-of-life is in 2021), then I think it should say that on the install instructions.https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/website/-/issues/17Add Backports hint to the Debian Download section.2019-07-10T17:38:17ZGustav GanzAdd Backports hint to the Debian Download section.https://gajim.org/downloads.php?#debian

This should also include improvements regarding which users are adressed. Right now it adresses advanced users. We should highlight the features wanted/used by the majority of users.
What I think should be highlighted:
* Message synchronization (between multiple clients)
* Image/Video/File sharing (even with offline users)
* Encryption (types)
* Emoticons
Please add the ones I forgot to mention.
Right now the list is a bit cluttered with more or less important features. Restructuring and updating the list should help already.
