new chatwindow/roster item mixup
Please first check if another issue has been opened for your problem
Versions
- OS: Windows / Archlinux
- Gajim version: Win: 1.0.1 64 bit / Arch : 1.0.99 commit g9bab139b from aur
- GTK version: Arch 3.22.30
- Python-nbxmpp version: 0.6.7
Steps to reproduce the problem
- install Gajim on 2 devices, log into the same account ( server needs to be able to do carbons )
- login to both instances and stay online
- send chat message on device 1 to some random jid which is not in your roster
Expected behavior
depending on your config a new chat window should pop up with the titel of the random jid you just messaged, or a new roster entry named what ever the random jid is called.
Actual behavior
depending on your config a new chat window pops up with your own jid and a new roster item is selectable titled with your own jis nick.
I hope that this is described clear enough. I have the xml output from the when the window pops open below.
