Once the Gajim roster window is closed, there is no way to display it again. Clicking on the gajim application icon warns "Gajim is already running".
Bug description
Once the Gajim roster window is closed, there is no way to display it again.
Closing the roster window does not kill the gajim process which may be intentional, however clicking on the gajim icon in the Launcher will fork a new gajim process which then informs the user that "Gajim is already running". The user then must invoke "killall gajim" via the command-line to terminate the original process.
The expected behavior is probably that clicking on the gajim icon in the ubuntu launcher should display the roster window of the still-running gajim process.
Steps to reproduce
- Start gajim with its default configuration by either invoking "gajim" via the CLI, or via the ubuntu launcher.
- close the roster window
- observe that there is no User interface through which the roster can be made to display itself again. Clicking the gajim icon in the ubuntu launcher creates a new gajim process which informs the user "Gajim is already running"
