Don't clear password on server error
Bug description
My Jabber server has sometimes some issues and refuses login to anybody. Gajim reports and authentication failure and asks for new password. That is fine, but the password is cleared in the dialog that pops up. That means I have to retype password every time I want to test if my server is fixed.
The password dialog should pop up, but it should have the old password stored and only offer the possibility to retype it, but it shouldn't have it completely cleared by default. So I can simply hit Enter if I know my password is correct and the server is just mailfunctioned.
Steps to reproduce
-
Have server that denies authentication.
-
Try to connect, Gajim reports failure and asks you for new password on subsequent login attempt. You have to fill in your password, it's not remembered. Try to log in every 5 minutes for two hours, until server is repaired. You had to retype your password 40 times over. Hitting Enter each time instead would have been much easier, but it's not possible.
