Confusing SAS verification dialog
The SAS verification dialog in it's current form doesn't really make sense to me. Right now there are 4 possibilitys:
- Checkbox checked, user clicks OK
- Checkbox unchecked, user clicks OK
- Checbox checked, user clicks Cancel
- Checkbox unchecked, user clicks Cancel
I would think case 2, 3 and 4 are redundant.
The question in the dialog is "Would you like to continue with the encrypted session?" First possible answers to this question are "Yes" and "No" not OK and Cancel. If you argue that the checkbox handels the Yes or No case you just need one button labelled OK. But the description of the checkbox doesn't really fit the question.
I would propose changing the question in the dialog to something like: "Have you verified the Short Authentication String and would like to continue the encrypted session?" Buttons would be labelled "Continue" and "Abort" and the checkbox removed.
