gajim does not show a room is logged ( point 7.1.14 of xep 0045 )
From the XEP :
If the user is entering a room in which the discussions are logged to a public
archive (often accessible via HTTP), the service SHOULD allow the user to enter the
room but MUST also warn the user that the discussions are logged. This SHOULD be done
by including a status code of "170" in the initial presence that the room sends to
the new occupant
Mu-conference send this xml when the logging is enabled :
\<presence from='test2@conf-test.example.org/Misc' to='misc@example.org/Appart' id='226'>
\<x xmlns='vcard-temp:x:update'>
\<photo>c7aa16226eeeb733c7c91f6c7b96dd3242eaac59\</photo>
\</x>
\<c xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/caps' node='http://gajim.org/caps' ext='cstates' ver='0.11.1.1'/>
\<x xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/muc'/>
\<delay xmlns='urn:xmpp:delay' from='test2@conf-test.example.org/Misc' stamp='2007-06-28T22:54:12Z'/>
\<x xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/muc#user'>
\<item jid='misc@example.org/Appart' affiliation='owner' role='moderator'/>
\<status code='110'/>
\<status code='170'/>
\</x>
\</presence>
Yet, gajim show nothing. I think it would be interesting to show a message, either a popup ( intrusive) a by showing the message in the muc room ( less obstrusive)
I suspect a similar problem regarding point 10.2.1, "Notification of Configuration Changes", and i think gajim should also warn user, even if not mandated by xep to show it to the end user.
