Corrected messages (LMC) sporadically overlapped in the chat window

Versions

  • OS: Windows 8.1, Windows 10 @ 1803
  • Gajim version: 1.1.2
  • GTK version: 3.24.1
  • Python-nbxmpp version: 0.6.9

Description

If Last Message Correction (LMC, XEP-0308) is applied to a message, it can overlap with another nearest message. Usually, this glitch is not occurred instantly after LMC, but with some delay. Furthermore, visual overlap is permanent, i.e. scrolling or resizing can't cure it.

You can see it on the following screenshot at 22:05:13 timestamp: chat-glitch
