Gajim in endless loop trying to reconnect if networking has been stopped and then started manually

How to reproduce:
- stop network (
/etc/init.d/networking stop) - Gajim starts timeout (if start network until it expires, it is all OK)
- Gajim tries to reconnect and fails
- Gajim tries to reconnect and fails for the second time
- start network (
/etc/init.d/networking start) - Gajim goes into endless loop
