When entering Japanese text the enter key doesn't work properly
Versions
- OS: Debian testing
- Gajim Version: 0.98.2
- GTK+ Version: 3.22.24
- PyGObject Version: 3.26.1
- python-nbxmpp Version: 0.6.1
This behavior is very similar to #851 (closed).
When entering Japanese text one enter the words pronouciation, select the good symbols with enter and then validate the selection wirh the "enter" key. Everything works well with gajim except the validation. Striking "enter" has no effect at all.
Some explanation of Japanese input: during the transformation from pronouciation to symbols the text is bufferized and managed outside of gajim, when validating the buffered symbols are transmitted to gajim.
I use mozc 2.20.2673.102 with fcitx 4.2.9 for input method on Debian. In the same environment, there is no problem with Gajim 0.16.x.
