Hard to tell devices apart with only fingerprints (no ressource IDs) for setting OMEMO encryption trust levels
In Gajim 2.3.3 (from Flathub), in the "Encryption (OMEMO)" section in:
- Your own account's settings dialog
- The other participants' 1:1 DM details dialog
- The MUC group chatroom's details dialog
…it is very difficult to identify and tell apart devices, because (in the case of your own devices, or a 1:1 chat) they are only the fingerprints and "last seen" timestamp (and, in the case of a group chatroom's details, also the XMPP user account handle).
Would it be possible at all to also show the resources names (ex: "gajim.xyz", or, in the case of people like me, "gajim.green_laptop", "gajim.workstation", etc.) in that GUI? Human eyes are pretty poor at comparing 8x8 character strings fingerprint hashes, and oftentimes it would help a lot to have additional identifiers to go with them.
