URL regex does not work well with > at the end

I have an bridged IRC bot that posts messages of the following type:

News from gamesplanet: Unciv: 4.1.0 <https://planet.freegamedev.net/2022/05/15/4-1-0/>

Other XMPP and IRC clients understand that the trailing > is not part of the URL but on Gajim it results in a broken link.

Would be nice if that could be improved. Thanks!
