Windows uninstaller doesn't stop/uninstall gdbus.exe
I hit this issue several times already when updating my Gajim install on Windows. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if my computer is acting strangely due to the antivirus or some other problems (this is not a fresh and healthy Windows install). So if no one else can reproduce this problem, please ignore me and close it.
- OS: Windows 7 32bit
- Gajim version: 1.3.2
- GTK version:
- Python-nbxmpp version:
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Download installer because there is a new version
- Quit Gajim, the run Installer
- Installer first uninstalls Gajim
Uninstallation should work fine and clean up everything. Installation should then work fine.
Quitting Gajim and uninstallation leaves gdbus.exe running. The Installer then fails because it cannot overwrite gdbus.exe and some dll files that it is using.
