[pgp] Show Icon for encrypted messages in chat
Please first check if another issue has been opened for your problem
Versions
- OS: Fedora 26 x86_64
- Gajim version: 1.1.0
- GTK version: 3.22.21
- Python-nbxmpp version: 0.6.8
- PyGObject version: 3.24.1
Description
Regarding the update "Show icon for unencrypted messages" which was introduced in Gajim 1.0.99.1 (07 October 2018). When two parties are communicating with PGP (XEP-0027), the icon is showing as if the messages are sent unencrypted, but looking at verbose logs it's clear that messages are sent encrypted. Both parties are running same Gajim and python module versions.
Does the lock icon only work with XEP-0373?
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Open Gajim
- Send an encrypted message
Expected behavior
The lock should say "Encrypted".
Actual behavior
The lock is saying "Not encrypted"
