Please note by far the quickest way to get a new feature is to file a Merge Request.
I'd like to be able to mark a conversation as Unread.
Doing this would allow me to track conversations that I still need to "process" (this might mean: reply; convert what people told me into a note in my journal; or any other ToDo).
While I proposed the usage of Unread status, I think that any other labeling would work just fine, at least for me.
When I receive a new message, Gajim clearly communicates this to me by putting an asterisk on window title. To check what I received, I can go to "Show next pending event"
I'd like to know if there is any way I can do the same with a keyboard shortcut. If there isn't, maybe that's good to implement because going to the next unread message is a key action on an IM.
Not for me, at least on gajim 1.3.3-1~bpo11+1
(Debian).

I thought that was a server problem, but I can join just fine with profanity (same account). Other friends tell me they can join fine with Conversation. I remember joining with Gajim 1.1
